Inclusion Strategist badge demonstrates the ability to identify specific individual needs and to implement inclusion strategies in order to include a wider range of people and thus help them reach their full potential. 
Learning Targets
  • Knowing about the UN Disability Convention
  • Knowing about methods of inclusive education
 
  • Being able to recognise the special needs of all participants
  • Being able to provide tailor-made preparation, support and follow-up for people with fewer opportunities
  • Capacity to successfully interact and overcome issues when being confronted with situations involving exclusion

 

 
  • Showing respect for diversity
  • Acceptance of all individuals with all their strengths and weaknesses
 

Participants have to successfully accomplish the following tasks before the BADU Open Badge will be issued.

Minimum standards:

  • Having successfully completed an entire learning activity (training course, seminar, online course, workshop etc.), a voluntary programme/internship
  • Self-evaluation
  • Assessment session with the trainer/mentor
  • Case Study
  • Conducted one workshop on the topic of the activity with youth within 2 months after the activity
  • Conducted critical incident analysis
  • Problem Solving and simulation games on the specific topic of the activity
  • Reflection exercises
  • Scored at least 80% on the final test
