The organization is a not-for-profit social enterprise, born in 2012 and active in the field of transnational mobility for education.EduMobY, with the support of institutional, national and international partners, has achieved a significant experience in the sector of traineeships abroad for young people, so to improve their life skills.Starting from projects implemented in Europe with the Leonardo da Vinci community programme, through the SafariJob project (Ministry of Youth, Youth National Agency and INPS), EduMobY has developed an innovative training path, helping young people to develop skills and knowledge they need in a working and social context abroad. Such skills are strongly required in the job market (national and European), but not easily acquired through the usual education-training process on a regional/national level. The standard model developed by EduMobY refers to the management of training experiences, with a duration of 20/24 weeks, in a country abroad. The programme is based on a training integrated pathway developed before and after the experience abroad. It comprises a guidance, training and valuing activity of the experience abroad, in order to reinforce the occupability opportunities for the participant. Specifically, the activities are: - an information/guidance day, to help participants make a more informed choice of the field and destination abroad; - a residential training seminar before the departure to give an overview of the experience abroad; - after the experience, a residential evaluation seminar; - after the evaluation seminar, a further session for a career’s coaching to help the participants develop a professional path in the short, medium and long term. We are certified UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 for the EA: 37 e 39 sectors - UNI EN 14804:2005 for “Language and training courses in Italy and abroad” Sector EA. Into all the activities carried out so far we have been involving on the transnational mobility around 500 youngsters.
