Youth Work Activist
Youth Work Activist badge demonstrates the ability to empower young people to stand up for their rights and to advocate for youth policies on local, national and EU level. 
Learning Targets
  • Knowledge of human rights conventions at international and national level
  • Knowledge of organisations working in the field of humans rights
  • Knowing about legal frameworks with a special focus on youth rights
 
  • Being able to involve young people in participation processes
  • Capacity to empower young people to stand up for their rights and enhance their interest and skills
  • Capacity to create activities on youth rights
 
  • Showing a participatory attitude
  • Showing great enthusiasm
 

Participants have to successfully accomplish the following tasks before the BADU Open Badge will be issued.

Minimum standards:

  • Having successfully completed an entire learning activity (training course, seminar, online course, workshop etc.), a voluntary programme/internship
  • Self-evaluation
  • Assessment session with the trainer/mentor

 

  • Case Study
  • Conducted one workshop on the topic of the activity with youth within 2 months after the activity
  • Conducted critical incident analysis
  • Problem Solving and simulation games on the specific topic of the activity
  • Reflection exercises
  • Scored at least 80% on the final test
