EU Fund Expert badge demonstrates knowledge of different EU funds and programmes available to the youth sector as well as the skills necessary for designing project proposals.
Learning Targets
Understanding EU programmes working through direct and indirect funding
Knowing about EU Funding Instruments for culture, education and youth
Being able to draft an outline for a youth related project, keeping in mind the eligibility of all related costs
Being able to identify the most relevant funding sources
Being able to prepare the documentation required to gain funding
Being able to align project proposals with EU strategic documents and policies regarding youth
Showing rigorousness and demonstrating attention to detail
Showing a strategic vision
Participants have to successfully accomplish the following tasks before the BADU Open Badge will be issued.
Minimum standards:
Having successfully completed an entire learning activity (training course, seminar, online course, workshop etc.), a voluntary programme/internship
Self-evaluation
Assessment session with the trainer/mentor
Case Study
Conducted one workshop on the topic of the activity with youth within 2 months after the activity
Conducted critical incident analysis
Problem Solving and simulation games on the specific topic of the activity
