EU Ambassador
EU Ambassador badge demonstrates an understanding of fundamental EU values and strategies and the ability to promote their objectives.
- Understanding the European Union’s fundamental values (respect for human dignity and human rights, freedom, democracy, equality and the rule of law)
- Knowing current EU strategies and agendas (Europe 2020, EU Youth Strategy…)
- Being able to navigate complex internal discussions relating to EU values and objectives
- Being able to convey information effectively
- Being able to promote EU topics to a wider audience
- Showing initiative, taking on responsibilities and challenges
- Showing willingness to lead, take charge and offer opinions and direction
Participants have to successfully accomplish the following tasks before the BADU Open Badge will be issued.
Minimum standards:
- Having successfully completed an entire learning activity (training course, seminar, online course, workshop etc.), a voluntary programme/internship
- Self-evaluation
- Assessment session with the trainer/mentor
- Case Study
- Conducted one workshop on the topic of the activity with youth within 2 months after the activity
- Conducted critical incident analysis
- Problem Solving and simulation games on the specific topic of the activity
- Reflection exercises
- Scored at least 80% on the final test
